|  anyone run 2.8 tires on a wraith??
Howdy, I am looking for the widest possible tire to run on my wraith in the snow. Ive been eyeing the traxxas stampede wheels with the new Proline TSL Super Swamper tires in 2.8, they look REALLY wide.

I tried the 2.8 trenchers on the black desperado rims. They were ok but didn't work all that well for what I was doing. Definitely wide though.

Looks great though!! I'm just looking for snow-ability, nothing too crazy. Did you use the front or rear wheels? I believe they have a different offset.

Thanks they should give good flotation. Yes there is different offsets and I'm not sure which ones I bought but they were not what I wanted. Mine have less offset and keep it narrower. They will work as long as you limit steering some. I have since went back to 2.2s and put the 2.8s on my slash 4x4.

For Traxxas wheels FR (Fronts) have the widest offset. These are sold as Fronts for 2wd models and Front/Rear for the 4wd models (4wd they use the same offset all round).
