I've been mod ding a km k3 winch into my own version of a k2. Plan to compete in scale events and the winch is a must to be competitive.

Thanks oiler.
pretty proud of that extended output. It's held up to quite a few battery's now on 2-4s.

Here's a pic from today on the rocks at home.

Re: built not bought.

Decided it was time make my non sensor ed 1/8 scale motor crawl with the big boys. It already holds its own and runs with them but isn't as smooth there's a few place s where just a little smoother will get through with no wheel speed. I also wanted to see how far I could take it with a big spur.

Pictured is a 66 32p just barely clears my output. The other outputs on the market will clear bigger of course the spur cover I'd not going to fit but who cares.

This was a test fit only as I have no room to bolt a pinion gear on. My 1/8 scale motor is sticking out past the skid plate

I'll probly settle on 12 pinion and 60spur. My current gears are 14x58.
though I dig the 66 spur I'm in crawler trailing mode so I may get a smaller 1800kv airplane motor that doesn't stick out past the skid plate and realy be crawling.

I've got 64/11 32p on mine, with a 540 sized motor though.

Respect for the building, I buy as little as I can get away with.

Re: built not bought.

ThanK you.

I'll order a 64 and 60. I'll also need to fab a little cover over the spur to keep cables off.
