gonna build a 1.9 Wraith

As the title says. I want to turn my 2.2 wraith into a 1.9 wraith. And because I have little experience with RC, I don't know what parts I need to buy/build to make it work.
So I'd like to know what you guys used to turn your 2.2 wraith into a 1.9 wraith.

Parts that I know I'm going to need.
SCX10 axle housings
brushed motor and ESC for now
Over/Under gears
Metal Gears
1.9 wheels and tires
Aluminum tranny with supershafty motor plate
ANY ADVICE ON WHAT BRAND TO USE IS MUCH APPRECIATED

I am thinking of using axial falcon wild peak tires R35 compound. If anyone has experience with these are they good or bad?

I think the biggest hang up with a 1.9 wraith is the wheel base. Pick up some 8/32 stainless all thread rod and some brake link or refrigerator ice box/water line and some revo rod ends to create your own links. It is possible to shorten the wheelbase with after market aluminum links, but prepare to need a variety of sizes to mix and match to get it where you want it.

when I built a 1.9 wraith I used made shorter links to match up with the wheel well openings and had to trim the wraith cage to allow the servo to squeeze between the rails on compression and shorten the drive shafts, but other then that everything else with stock scx10 trans. so really all you need is scx10 axles, build some links and shorten drive shafts and your golden

one of the guys I comp with runs the falkens and he loves them he suggested running a taller crawler innovations foam to help fill out the tire but they are top notch and look sweet
