|  axial universal upgrade slop
Hey, I just upgraded to axial universals and now the drivers side wheel has some slop (pull side to side space)... wiggling... Bearings are good, axel is seated, it doesn't appear to be the u joint the whole assembly moves. Any ideas I'm out of em' Thanks |

All of mine are like that and I use the traxxas shims in between the hex pin and the outer knuckle bearing.

IS there any way to shim the inner bearing? Just so it looks clean? Which shim kit? I see all kinds from traxxis |

i used these shims - TowerHobbies.com | Traxxas Fiber Washers 5x8mm (20) still not happy with the result. might just buy some vp's if they fit better

Fast Eddy has a shim kit for wraiths. I believe it's for the use of the VP disk brakes.

A press fit locker or a locker with set screws will also eliminate the in and out slop. Just be sure the pivoting axis of the universal lines up with the rotation centerline of the knuckle or you will have binding issues.
