Looking great. Glad to hear it performed well. I'm at the point where I need to cut the Lexan. Unfortunately, not confident the painting will go well with the temps below zero here!

Temps and in the 40°'s here, not great for painting but I could get it done with a small space heater. However, the rain seems to hit every 36-40 hours, so there's no chance of getting anything to stick right.

Thanks motopreserve! I was running the salamander in the garage to get my painting done. Hope yours goes well!

I really wish there had been better photos of the cut pieces in the instructions. Some of the lines were non-existent and the pressure to get it perfect is intense!!!

I have a propane wall unit at the bike shop. It does "ok" when it's below zero. If I could hit it and quit it, no biggie. But I want try to do it right, so the painful part will be waiting between coats and for it to dry!

Did you sand the edges at all before painting? I feel it could be a little neater in some spots but not sure how Lexan takes to fine grit wet/dry paper.

Thanks.

I used a dremel with a med sanding drum. I did it before I painted. I need to straighten up some of the lines after painting as it's more noticeable, and some paint shows on the edges. I figured that should clean it up nicely.

I put the toe rod below the knuckle bracket and the drag above the bracket with a small spacer in between the top 2. Truck looks awesome

Thanks for the Dremel tip. I'm sure the paint makes things stand out - so I'll give it a shot before I paint.

I had put up with a similar issue with the tie rod (even though I had VP knuckles) till I was working on the servo arm hitting the bumper & found I could improve the tie rod clearance at the same time.

Initially I just changed out the stock servo posts to some RCBros posts, they're a much slimmer design.
To get a little more clearance I then made my self a new servo plate, I hadn't at that point discovered the DCW de-wanger, that moved the posts back another 2mm.
That solved the servo arm hitting the bumper.
It had the added advantage of pulling the servo horn & drag link back from the tie rod, which allowed me to roll the tie rod up a little which let it fit over the diff cover a little better .
It did however introduce a clash between the servo horn & the diff cover when turning left, this was solved by flipping the servo over & running the drag link to the left instead of right knuckle.

I had to spin the servo mounts 180 deg. to get the horn not to hit. A little more work removing the servo now. Hopefully I wont need to do that anytime soon. I think the lowering kit caused some of that too though.

I'm still using the stock mounts. Not replacing until they break :-)
