hubs....

OK I've searched and read but no real direct answer to my question. I did the VP stage 1 and have the usual rub on the wheel. I've only had traxxas trucks before this that had the hex hubs. Can I solve the issue with just buying a set of the VP hex hubs or do I need more to do the conversion on my wraith spawn. Or do I need to get something else as described in other post?

Re: hubs....

You'll need a set of 12mm hexes and some VP hubs (plus a set of hub screws since they are 4-40 not 3mm). I suggest the 475 hubs from VP.

Locked Up RC has hubs & 4/40 bolts you need, in stock. Patrick is great to deal with.

You can find 4-40 at most hardware stores as well.

I suggest 350 and no wider.
Could also possibly get it to clear with just thicker hexes.

Wider isn't better but I guess looks cooler.

How wide are the stock hubs?

Can you clearance the rodds end slightly to clearance the wheel. Is it close enough to self clearance?
