The newer Wraiths are coming with a slightly better servo than before. So give it a shot for awhile and then buy the best servo you can afford at that time. Servos are normally a "you get what you pay for" item.

My advice (which I learned from this great site) was run it until it breaks then replace it...

However with that said, my stocker hasn't broken but I'm finding it weak so I'm replacing mine with a high torque Savox.

Do both.

I use it in my scx10 and 2wd slash. I bought three. I wanted a spare. All three were good. But I do know about those duds once in a while. Just over 400oz of torque at 7.4 volts.

Solar is ok metal gear servo for $23 but the best route is Holmes Hobbies WP servo or like mentioned Hitec 7950!!! Both of these are huge torque & with cust service that backs them.

If you upgrade the servo, don't forget the BEC and the link to program it. like I said b4, if you're on a tight budget, upgrade the steering links first, they suck ! Upgrading the servo won't get you past this...do the links first
