|  How much will 3s speed up spawn?
I have a spawn and my son has the rtr wraith. His wraith is faster then my spawn both on 2s batteries. Just wondering if i ran a 3s how much it would speed the spawn up?

I run 3s on my PS, it's pretty quick, I have it geared down as well. Pinion is a 16t I think. Don't expect it your drivetrain to hold up long though. 3s tends to make you drive more aggressive. Also you should adjust your slipper if using 3s

Ya i was just going to run 3s when playing in field with a few jumps not really crawling. Do you still think i will have drive train problems?

Your drive train shouldnt be at high risk but there is still a chance if you are hitting the ground hard enough

Depends what you are trying to do with the wraith, and how you do it. I would make sure your slipper is set loose if you are just bashing, that will at least protect stuff to a degree. I think with jumping, you may have issues with the shocks. Harley's Guide to a Bulletproof Wraith Some good reading on what direction you will need in the future. |

Been running 3s non stop in my sons spawn since Christmas day. not a single problem and a bout 7 3s 2200mah packs through it with 2 of the packs run by me pretty hard. on 3s the spawn is pretty quick for stock. all the packs have been run hard my son was hitting like a 6 foot burm and roosting it pretty descent. You will eventually need some upgrades though. I see a set of mip driveshafts in the future.

We've been running 3S in my sons Spawn since he got it right before Christmas. So far: both rear inter wheel hubs have been replaced, smoked the 20T stock motor so put in his 27T from SCX10, stripped the middle transmission gear, but he's having fun and it's pretty quick! After running 3S, 2S is like going back to training wheels! Eat Sleep Jeep |
