Default PS Wraith Issues

Fairly new to crawlers, and today while I had my wraith out, I started to have this issue:

I figure I at least toasted my motor(planning on replacing it anyways). But the other issue I started to have was steering issues. I just replaced the servo, and only get small twitchy movements out of it when I try to turn the wheels. Would this be an issue with the CC BEC or could the ESC be going out?

Do you have a extra motor? I would try a motor first. A bad motor may cause the other problems.

2s lipo 5200 mah. i should also add..that since getting home and being able to touch the rig more...the light on my bec is is flickering as well...which would be excessive amp draw correct?? with the steering servo(brand fing new btw) jumping it would lead me to think its a servo issue. If i unplug the servo though the jumpiness in the throttle goes away.

It may have to do with how you wired your BEC and what voltage you set it at. More info about wiring and settings with pix would help in the diagnosis.
