Default Modified Wraith cutting off periodically

Hey, I'm new to the forum and electric rc cars. My car has been cutting off since adding a servo and a pinion gear 31t. I have a Wraith that I put a Axial 55t motor in a few weeks ago. It's been working fine. I just put a Savox 1230 steering servo on it and now if it's at full throttle and I turn fast the the car comes to a stop. I put it upside down and ran it wide open forward and reverse with no problem but the minute I turn the wheels the motor stops. Seems like I'm not getting enough power to run both at the same time but I dunno what to do to fix it. Any help is greatly appreciated. By the way the battery was fresh off the charger it's a 7.4v 5400 20c and was working fine minutes before the new servo and pinion gear.

Just ordered the cc bec pro from castle creations. Hopefully that fixes the issue. I'll post back when it comes in. Thanks

That should def fix it. I ran my stock esc with a hired 7955 for two days and would get the same thing when steering was put in a bind.

Ok, so I went ahead and bought a a castle bec from the local hobby store. I'll use the one I ordered for a spare or another project. I got it hooked up like the instructions say and I watched a few you tube videos of other people doing it. Probkem is it doesn't cut off now. The throttle only works with the switch in the on position but the steering works in or off. Is that normal?

Normal . You have a BEC right to battery and plugged into receiver . The receiver gets power and is turned on from the BEC now . Your switch is only turning the ESC off and on now .
