Default Harley Stage 2 Wraith

So I am doing a wraith build using Harley's guide going "stage 2" + Holmes Hobbies motor, Mamba Max ESC, Futaba Servo. Also have a Sanwa MT4

My question is doing these upgrades am I best to start with the Kit and is so what parts can I cross of the upgrade list?

From what I can find I believe its basicly just the lower links?

or do I start RTR?

Being that you plan to buy a new motor, ESC, and servo, I would start with a kit. You'll get better tires with the kit too. Also the freedom to paint your wraith whatever color you choose.

Agreed. Thats why I plan on going the kit route myself. I plan on a lot of upgrades and already have a couple things like spare shocks, esc, etc... Either way, I imagine I would spend roughly the same in the end but the kit will save a bit of cash initially. My heavily upgraded SCX RTR is evidence of this. At least this way I can get the build moving. And I can customize as I build rather than having to r&r brand new parts that would have just stayed on the trees. I'm also using Harleys idea of a (rough) $50 per week budget. Just my .02

if you are buying those right off the bat the kit will be cheaper. I would ditch the tires either way along with the wheels for something better and beadlocks. Not a ripsaw fan myself.
