Default IFS wraith Issue

If you have a IFS wraith with a Blue monkey kit, please feel free to respond. I currently am running into a major problem. Due to where the servo sits on the plate it hits the transmission. How are you running yours?

i'm at work now but will try to snap a pic when i get home.

its tight - no doubt. i purposely made the servo mount as close to the transmission as possible... but you should not be having major clearance issues.

Just a dumb question, but any chance that the wraith skid is facing backward?

I have this conversion and no clearance issu with the servo. I don't have the rig with me now, otherwise I would have taken pics for you.

To BMRC,

-The machined recess slot ( for the front ring gear) in the main bottom plate should be made wider to be able to reverse the the ring gear to have the hability to change the diff rotation direction to take advantage of normal ( counter-clockwise) motor with advanced timing.

-Adding a 4-5mm shim between the knuckle and the outer rod end of the tie rod greatly reduce bump steer!

-The update adjustable bellcrank position is a nice improvement!

Still working on getting more steering from the inside wheel when turning, I got a couple of ideas I need to modelize to see if it works!

But the kit is really nice!

I need to try to keep up with my brother Yeti!!LOLLLL

Thanks Blue Monkey!

I have it sitting the same on both my wraiths. Whats transmission are you running? I thought about flipping the skid to see if I could get more clearance, just have not had the time. Also, what servo are you running. At the Recon G6 this weekend, a few people recommended a thinner servo.

I have a Hitec 7954, standard size.

The way the skid and transmission are mounted in your rig, the spur gear is facing foward, right?

I have a wraith Hot Racing aluminium case transmission, same as the stock cases.

I just wish my rig was here, so I could verify and send you pics.

Can you post some pice here?
