Default Best servo for wraith

I have a wraith with all stock electronics except I changed the gearing and installed a BEC.

What's the best servo for the wraith? I was looking at the hitec 7955 or 7950?
What do you guys recommend?

Im almost done with my kit build and have chosen the 7954sh. More torque than the 7955, can run on 7.4v and cheaper to boot. The only downside is the steel gears vs the '55s titanium ones.
My other choice would be the "waterproof" Holmes HV400. Absolute torque monster on 7.4v and cheaper than both the Hitecs.

Hitec 7955tg with castle bec@ 6.0 volts on both my Wraiths. 7950 is overkill imo.

Hitec is awesome and never a bad choice. If you wanna spend $24 and take a chance get a Solar D772!!! I use it in my Wraith and never had a prob with them. I dunk the damn thing in water too.

Yes, Hitec HS7950TH. In my Honcho too that way they can be swapped anytime if need be.

Hitec's warranty has treated me well the few times that I've used it.

I've seen several DOA and dead shortly after Solar 772, they are great for the money and will warranty too but I prefer to not have to send parts back and wait.

Savox are noisy and I've seen several of them with issues too.

Forgot to mention that the two extra (middle) servo case screws on the Solar 772 don't do anything, they just screw into the top half of the case! ROTFLMFAO!

In the same boat as the op.
Would it be worth it just to step up to the 7990th?
I've been through a stock servo and just killed a 5645mg today.

The 7990th is the best of the best. If u want to pay that much, 611oz. If not go 7980th, then 7950th. 7950th is my fav at 486oz, i have 3 currently. All fast and super strong, great hold and not a lot of buzzing. They all good and titanium gear. 7954 would be next best but its not titanium. All 7.4v servos so far, so run castle BEC. Then a 7955 would be last as its not true 7.4v but does it. Then all other brands under those hitecs. If cost is factor.

I went with the Holmes Servo and would not look back, it has gobs of power, it's fast and its waterproof for the price its hard to beat as far as I am concerned. I have BEC at 7.6V and its a monster
