Default BEC Installation

Hey guys i have an axial wraith with all stock electronics. I just finished installing my Castle external BEC. I also got the castle link to change the settings to 6V.

I just wanted to make sure i installed it correctly.

I installed it exactly like this diagram, Is this how i was suppose to do it?

The Castle setup is the way I have/had it in all my rigs! Good luck.

My tip, Get yourself a 3" servo extension cable, and snip the red wire on it. and use it between your ESC and receiver in lue of molesting the ESC's connector,

What Capnwan said or just un-pin it like I did that way you can use it again if need be, no damage to that wire.

Upon closer inspection of the OP's diagram shown, I just noticed that there is no chanel shown for steering? Just shows the BEC going into what should be the chanel 2 for steering. Am I mis-understanding something here in that diagram? Where would you plug in the steering servo?

I'm SORRY! I meant to say ESC into chanel 2, not steering. I'm dyslexic this morning.
