|  scx10 axles advantages or disadvantages ???? are there any advantages or disadvantages if i was to install a set of scx10 axles on my wraith? |

if you go to scx10 axles you will have to go to 1.9s also...2.2s won't fit.

| Re: scx10 axles advantages or disadvantages ???? What fr8ture said, also too replacing parts and repairs are kind of a PITA to perform unlike the ar60 axles. So if your wanting to do a 1.9 wraith go for it, other than that stick with the ar60's. |

on the contrary, 2.2 tires will fit...just have to be the smaller 2.2 tires like the original 2.2 flat irons, 2.2 hammers, etc....I have used many on my 1.9 wraith during mock up...and trail testing

no wideners and only rubbed slightly on the shocks when at full lock...the flat irons were especially nice on it...I think I have pics somewhere...edit, here is a link to my build/upgrade of my Rubicon...pics show it pretty clear, it was close, and all I did was raise the body up a bit on the posts... new to scx10-ordered a jeep rubicon Last edited by allanon1965; 02-28-2015 at 04:37 PM. |

With mine the rear tires would be into the side of the cage just sitting on the ground....

well to be fair, mine were on an scx10 rubicon, on a wraith I have used the hammers and flat irons, but it had a DMG long back Stiffy kit that helped with clearance issues in the rear. Edit: I found the beginning of my 626 build that shows the proline hammers on the wraith chassis with 1.9 scx10 axles... 1.9 Wraith, experiment 626 Last edited by allanon1965; 02-28-2015 at 09:04 PM. |

i put the scx10 axles under my wraith and it turned out to be one of my favorite trucks. running 2.2s on it with 12mm widners. ran it for awhile without them and the rubbing wasn't bad at all with rip saw tires
