Default Detailed tutorial for this?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BpDtbtPPobM

At about 1:50 he opens the hood. I was impressed and would like to do something similar. Do you guys know where I could find a tutorial on how to accomplish this? Thanks!

I know right. It's a really sweet setup. I also like how they modified the rear of the cage. What i like most though is that packed front. I would love to do something like that with mine. Although My new battery I do not think would fit like that. But Batteries can always be purchased.

I'm about ready to move my ESC/Battery to the front and ordered one of the "kits" for mine rather than just having 4 hood pins. I think it'll be a nice touch.

That tie rod under the servo horn seems like a bad idea.

What are you looking for with a tutorial? Its pretty easy, just very time consuming, mount battery in front (the right size is key, he has 3s 5000 hard case, so his is pretty big), get hood flip kit and just clean up wiring with zipties and have it all under the hood. It just takes lots of time and patience to get all the wires the right length and zipped up good in there.

Yea I agree with Johnny... The servo going over the tie rod seems wack. Not just less functional, but less realistic... I'd rather bend a tie rod than a drag link. (at least in real life) Silly.

I used the front hood battery holder "Da Box" from The Crawl Space. I managed to get all my electronics up front, ESC, 3S 2200Mah lipo, receiver, and BEC. I used the Traxxas battery hold down kit #3727A to hold the front of the hood down, and used a couple of 1/4" cable straps as hinges for the rear of the hood. The cable straps go on the cross bar and secured onto the hood with some button head bolts/nuts.

The foam around the top of the holder was added to help keep out and water/dirt.

That looks sharp bro. I think the only problem I am going to have is that I run Large batteries. 5000MAH++ I dont think I can get them to fit up front.
