Default My new mods.

2nd round of upgrades.
Axial HD 43/13 gears.
FI Spools.
Axial Universals.
Mini Loco bronze bushings.
SS Beefy top shaft.
Traxxas slash slipper.
Traxxas 32p 56t spur 11t pinion.
RRP trans gears.
Hot Racing finned motor mount.
Outerwear's motor cover.

Love the fit and finish of the FI spools and SS Beefy top shaft..









Fit of the 56t spur and Maxx shafts.

On the gears you bought. Which one of the gears lower the ratio. I understand 1:1 gears like 4:88,5:13,4:10. I'm pretty sure they go up in ring gear teeth and down in pinion gear teeth. I may of just answered my own question

Gear ratios are the same whether 1:1 or 1/10 or 1/8, etc. scale. Larger ring gear and/or smaller pinion gear is lower (slower) gearing. The 43/13 is lower than stock, 36/14 is higher than stock. Stock ring and pinion is 38/13.

Which has a greater effect on final ratio (speed)...ring & pinion or pinion & spur?

The shocks are 4 7/8 with the rod ends I have one them.
