Default ribaja's wraith

Starting my wraith build it just showed up today at work but I've been collecting parts for a couple months and reading other build threads.

I'm starting off with a good parts list
Vanquish stage 1 kit
Vanquish ar60s
Vanquish links
Vanquish lower shock mounts
STRC diff holders
Team Fast Eddy bearings
Beef Tubes
Dlux no slop bushings
Crawler Innovations 6 bolts and DW foams
Traxxas et-3s reflashed to a mmp
Axial universals
DMG stump back stiffy
Tekin ROC 412 3100kv

I have another order coming in this week that has
Vanquish .475 hubs
Vanquish axel truss
amf hood and half panels
Traxxas post for the hood
RRP pinions from 10t -15t
Jevine battery plate
Now I just need to get some time away from the wife and kids

How hard was it to reflash the et-3s to an mmp?

Later on down the line you could do the transmission gears. Hot Racing has the 3 pc aluminum gears which I use and or the steel gears, Axial and Robinson Racing has the 3 pc metal gears also. Just stay away from the 1pc bottom gear, with the power plant you have you just might break the out put shaft and that would suck. With the individual gear as mentioned above at least you can replace the out put drives cheaply if need be.

I hope it will fit up there or in the stock spawn spot. I should have waited until I had the car in hand before I soldered the wires on the motor

Not seeing any drive shafts listed in there. You're going to want a good pair with the combo you're running. MIP's or equivalent. Till then take a solid rod of some sort and slip it into the male drive shaft, otherwise it'll twist up fairly quick under power.

Rig's looking good tho!

Those lockers/gears won't last an afternoon. When the front locker splits it will tear up the axles. Get some HD gears and spools in there before you even run it.

Thanks for the heads up I was hoping the stock spawn shafts would hold up for a little bit. I'm was planning on getting some mip's just maybe sooner than later

Thanks for the input I've been waiting for them to come in stock at RPP but going to look elsewhere. We still have about 2 feet of snow on the ground so I think I have a little time before I take it out

Don't hammer on it and the lockers / diff gears will last a little bit.. The HR lockers are stout and fairly cheap, but has a bit of slop where the axles slide in. I went with the Gripfab lockers this time around, pretty impressed with them so far. Good fitment all around and great looks. There's some other lockers out there that do well also, I just can't recall what they are at the moment.

The Heavy Duty Bevel gears are well worth the investment. Take your time in deciding if you want to overdrive the front / underdrive the rear or not before you order.

Thanks again for your input I appreciate the help as I'm new to crawling. I was looking at the gripfab and the locked up f1 for lockers. I was going to stay with the stock gear ratio Is there a benefit to doing over/under drive gears ill be trailing for the most part.

I've found hr spiral cut gears not sure if their any good or not.

I believe you should be fine with the stock gear ratio for trailing. Might have to get someone more experienced with trailing / bashing to chime in.

As for crawling, overdriving the front or underdriving the rear makes for tighter turning, and hill climbing ability by having the front wheels spin just a bit faster than the rear.
