Re: Crawler02's wraith kit with currie axles Well I've got the vp vvd's on the way to see if this beast wants to ad them to its diet of parts it spits out! In the meantime I went ahead and did my version of the wraith fastback mod and took a piece of the back roof section and was able to ad it in as a windshield spreader bar because I've broken the cage once already in that area. Let me know what you guys think! I'm going to put the roof panel back on now after I trim it to fit and I'd like to sleeve the pieces of all thread I used for the back of the cage with some brake line. http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w...psznnshn05.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w...psaxvub1ws.jpg |
Re: Crawler02's wraith kit with currie axles Looking good. "thumbsup" |
Re: Crawler02's wraith kit with currie axles Got the vanquish vvd's installed and they've been holding up great so far"thumbsup" http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w...psburrgupc.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w...psntbzwtab.jpg |
Re: Crawler02's wraith kit with currie axles ...been toying with the idea of the /\ windshield piece leftover from the fastback mod... You executed it nicely! Could you pass on some advice for how to securely attach it (especially the top of the /\ to the upper windshield bar). Or a close up pic of attachment points? ...much appreciated! |
Re: Crawler02's wraith kit with currie axles Really looks aggressive done up like that. I like it "thumbsup" |

Re: Crawler02's wraith kit with currie axles Thanks! ...my mind was thinking along the same lines, albeit much slower!... your ride rocks! |
Re: Crawler02's wraith kit with currie axles Well I kept breaking the gearhead droop mounts I was using in the rear so I got rid of them completely and swapped the slash rears onto the front an the fronts to the rear. Much better setup imo with the vp cms/ph and other than that been beating on this thing daily with no problems yet "thumbsup"http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w...pshhxoiodl.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w...psufsvyvam.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w...ps2wxesyrd.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w...pswkzuoi3t.jpg |
Re: Crawler02's wraith kit with currie axles Took this thing out again today and found myself a new crawl spot that's awesome for this thing! I've been having way more fun with this lately than I ever have with rc's. I'm excited to keep running the crap outta this beast and see how everything holds up to the abuse"thumbsup" http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w...psat27pdnb.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w...psuwvnjujl.jpg |
Re: Crawler02's wraith kit with currie axles Doing a bit of a tear down today to check everything over and load the diffs and tranny with some fresh grease so grabbed a picture of this thing not so together http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w...pssjr1thb0.jpg |
