| Questions for 1.9 Wraith Owners
Putting together a 1.9 Wraith with SCX axles more geared towards U4. Shocks: Wondering what the consensus is on shock lengths. Do you run longer 100mm shocks with droop or are you running shorter 93mm shocks. Panhard/CMS: What is a good setup that works with the wraith chassis and SCX axles? Wheelbase: Looks like 13" is the sweet spot, any thoughts on this? Thx in advance Last edited by photocycler; 03-17-2015 at 11:21 PM. |

90-103mm is ok Strc or vp cms with vp, hand bros, rc4wd, ssd or BM will work but vp can be bought alone for $20"thumbsup 12.5-13 is good |

I found 103mm to be decent but I recently switched to vaterra ascender aluminum shocks which when I measured we're about 107-108mm. Haven't had a chance to run them yet but I think they will do good. (Note: I am also running 100mm limiting straps) I'm running a RC4WD chassis side mount and a VP scx10 3 link axle mounted. VP chassis mount is another good option. Currently at 13". I wasn't really happy with a 13.6" wb. |

Shortened the wheelbase on my wraith axled rig to 13 1/4 inches and loving it. With the smaller 1.9's 13 or a bit smaller should look good. You'll have to shorten the front more so than the rear. As for shocks and etc I think it really depends on how scale you want it to be. |

My wheelbase is about 12.5" Shocks are 103gmade in rear, stock up front, both with lowering kit. Still running the axle mounted servo with 4 link. Works well for what I do with it. I would like to experiment with longer shocks, and eventually do the CMS. |

What are your thoughts on running SCX axles vs narrowed Wraith?
