|  Wraith spawn SLW help
Hey guys, Just bought my 4th rc and 3rd axial rig. It's the wraith spawn and of course it has the terrible plastic pin drives. I haven't stripped one yet but plan on ordering the SLW's so I don't have to worry about it. I have done a lot of searching and can't find much info, I'm looking to buys SLW's that are just a small amount wider than stock. Does anybody have a spawn with stock wheels and SLW's, What width did you use ? I would like to be just a fraction wider than the stockers to help with a little body rub up front. Thanks ! |

For the spawn its the slw 600 hubs that will be a hair wider than stock that swhat my son and I both have

Well crap, I ordered the 350's based off the fact that the 475's added 1/2 inch to the width in that video. Hopefully I can make these work.

Yes they do the thread is different on the axial methods but I used the tip of the driver for the 4-40 screws for the slw hubs to open the hole a lil and then the vp slw hubs fit fine. In the pic below you can see my son has the axial metods with the slw600 hubs and they fit.  |

I run 350 hubs on mine and they are just a smidge wider than stock, so close you cant tell by eye. These work fine.

I just got home from my trip and had some SLW's waiting for me. The 350's are In fact exactly what I was looking for. I would say I got about 2-3mm on each side. I'm glad I didn't change my order to the wider ones Thanks ! |
