yeah, I bought the spawn version to be a bit different, then took it a step further with removing the roof.i'm happy with the results.looks like your's is coming along nicely.i had to trim the backing/mounting plate for the slipper cover to clear the bottom of the interior after the tuck, but otherwise it all fits.

Can I change from the regular wraithinterior to a spawn interior doing the tummy tuck. Or just cut the old one.

How much chopping on the stock wraith interior would you have to do to to get it in with this mod?

Think about how close the wraith interior already is to motor/tranny, there's no way it will fit with tummy tuck. Your only option is spawn interior, and that will probably require some trimming.

I just started building my kit so have no idea how close it is lol. I just wanted to do the tuck while I'm building if it was possible to fit the interior in some how.

I would even like detailed inside shots on one with the tuck so I could see if something could be done with just the seats and dash and make my own floor and stuff.

Only problem I see with tummy tuck is my battery just barely rests on my spur cover, so moving it up will not work with spur cover. So spur cover will have to get pulled but hope pinion will still clear battery. Some interior shots with tummy tuck would be nice. | |

I'm running an scx tranny in my 1.9 wraith and I had the same problem with the gear cover conflicting with the battery. My solution to that is to mirror the tranny/skid. Now there's no way a spawn interior will fit (without cutting it, anyways). My next "solution" is gonna be a deadbolt interior. I'll let you know how that works. Here's a nekked pic for the pervs. Before: After: Last edited by snicklefritz; 06-09-2015 at 03:52 PM. |

| Re: Tummy Tuck Nope, not at all. I'm just reversing the skid plate, it doesn't move forward any. Last edited by snicklefritz; 06-09-2015 at 06:33 PM. |

I had success with my deadbolt idea. I had to cut the sides and front (dash) of the interior for installation purposes, but left the rear connected and it fits pretty good. This would work the same way with the G6 Jeep body. I'm going to build up a wraith tranny to take this thing racing. I don't know if it's going to be any shorter than my SXC tranny, but if it is I'll try to fit a spawn interior again and use regular wraith body panels. That turned out pretty good! I'm thinking about trying it this winter in mine. Think im just using the wraith dash and seats and building my own floor pan and middle hump. I like the look of mine and performance just find my self dragging belly a lot and this will help. |
