Whilst it will increase clearance if you don't make some other changes as well it will effect your link geometry, not necessarily for the better.
The tummy tuck also raises the the trans & motor in the chassis, raising the overall Center of Gravity (CoG) making it more inclined to roll over.

The counter to this is softer springs & lower ride height, somewhat negating the clearance gain under the skid in the first place.

Thank you for the response. Seems like an easy mod, however I was hoping to keep the same height not increase it by raising motor and trans.

I would prefer to lower COG but still do the tummy. Guess I can't have my cake and eat it too

Using some lowering tabs, like these https://www.rpphobby.com/product_p/gea1218.htm
to raise the upper shock mounts on the chassis will lower the chassis & CoG, but reduce belly clearance ..... that is where you gain some back in the tummy tuck.
You can also lower the CoG with weight in/on the axles/knuckle/wheels
