Thought I'd start my build thread since this weekend out comes the dremel and the paint. I will be doing a fastback mod and painting body panels, last look SPIDERXX at the rig as you sold it to me, thanks again man
Here is the RTR I got GENTLY used, except it had Axial beadlocks and ripsaws.

They are from Helipal, their pop ups are on this site a lot they specialize in drones it seems, the wheels come in silver and orange, maybe green because one of their 1/10 crawlers comes with green links and other green aluminum parts. They have been quick to answer any of my questions when I e-mail them. I had to drill my own little air holes in them though, they were to air tight without them.

I thought of it but I was worried about creating a spot that would just start traveling into a bigger tear and shorten my tire life.

Venting the wheel does the trick unless using ci foams! Venting the tire will not cause any issues but get a lil water/mud that can be removed by full throttle while holding rig. Nice start btw

Ready for Baja! Here she is with body done and switched back to the Axial wheels, they just fit the scheme better that I am going for, kind of a class 1 Baja thing. I still need some window netting and my number plates need made. The orange wheels will go back to my creepy crawler.

That looks great with those panels, and all stickered up like that. Love it!

That looks awesome RockBiter. Love it. Are the panels the originals modded? Either way that thing is ready to rock. You really brought it to life with the paint scheme.

Also this sunday I was able to do a really simple battery forward mod thanks to that body kit, the only real mod I had to do was snip away a little bit of the stock interior down on the firewall. Then I took the screws out of the electronics box and slid it forward along with the esc and used a stock Velcro strap to snug them in place. The battery set right down in the firewall area after finagling the wires just a smidge to get as much slack out of them as I gently could and bam battery forward being held by the hood and fender wells.
