Default Stubby's Build

New to the forum and thought I'd share my Wraith build as it progresses from stock.

Started off with a Poison Spyder Wraith

Deans Plugs
Added an aluminum servo horn (picked up from local hobby shop for cheap)
Vanquish chubs, knuckles, steering linkage, four link set coming Wed/Thursday.

Next step:
"waterproofing" axle shafts, driveshafts, tires/wheels

Last night I did a custom battery relocation using the stock parts. Moved the ESC to the rear, relocated on/off switch for easier access. I think it turned out pretty well.

Started by removing the interior, upper cage and necessary body parts to access the internals.

Secured ESC to the rear battery box using zip ties. Waterproofing and better installment to come. This is just temporary.

Secured the battery to the front using existing straps from battery tray

Used scotch tape to put over the existing mount, cut out holes and put the tape where I wanted the on/off switch to be. Turned out pretty good.

And some fun pictures some are before and after the battery mod.

Cut the on off switch and solder the wires. Saves a headache down the road

Yea better to unplug the battery. If you end up getting a BEC in the future you will have to anyway.

I ended up using the stock switch for lights
