What's the largest spur gear that will fit?

I currently have a 56/10 32p gearing in my Wraith, and would like to try a larger spur gear to see if I can get it crawl slower (using a HH trailmaster on 3S, runs great, just want to see how slow I can get it when I'm running it on rocks). What is the largest spur that will fit in the tranny where I can still fit the cover on?

56T is about the largest and still get the cover on. Maybe try a 9T pinion, although I run a 56/11 in my Wraith with a Crawlmaster Pro 16T and it does just fine at low speed. Could be just the difference in motors.

You can get a 58 tooth under the gear cover, but it's a tight fit and may rub the cover if the cover is warped a little. A 60 or higher will require the cover to be removed and then you start hitting the drive shaft yoke. I think Robinson Racing has 9 tooth pinions if you need something lower than 58/10. You can also lower the axle gears with the 43/13 gear set in both axles if needed.

A little secret...... tune your throttle exponential to around -75

Ditch the cover, 64 fits with the wraith mip output.

I ran the Trailmaster on 4s in my wraith. 56/11 and 54/13, and most options between..

I'm still running on in my scx. 56/11 on 4s..
I really enjoy the way the motor's performs. I may be dropping to 56/10 for this season. The more has more then enough torque and great startup. I'm just going to be trying the same as you. A touch smoother for the slow slow crawl.
