Default Slash shocks

Thinking about getting the slash 104mm shocks as recommended somewhere on here...

Is there any additional hardware needed to mount them on a spawn and what weight oil should I start with for mainly rock crawling?

Oil will depend on you preference and weight of your rig. Only real help I can be is suggest Dollarhobbyz for when ever you are buying stock parts. I just bought a set of the savage 160mm for the rear. Way over sized but work great after a little tuning and softening the springs, for $15 it was worth it. I have a full summit and stampede minus electronics and trays for parts in the garage for the other trucks for $65 So the kid and wife don't have to order parts.

If you're looking at the powerstrokes....

You probably going to need the spring kits as well, they're pretty stiff out of the box. They make a universal mounting kit, or nitro fuel line and some screws.

I run 20wt in the rear, 30wt in the front.

For mounting my Traxxas Big Bores on my Wraith I used the shock ends made by DLUX.

They look great and saved me from migivering something to get them to pivot/move at the top without binding.

DLUX shock ends. I run my Bigbores with Axial purple springs, regular pistons and 30wt. The shocks have a firm damping and feeling with this setup, much firmer than stock Axial shocks. I really like this setup.
