Took it out today and fried my servo. I knew that was going to happen running my Bluebird 621DMG from my old drift car. Worked fine in the SCX10 not so much in the Wraith lol

As soon as I figure out editing I will post it up. I accidentally recorded in UHD and nothing I have seems to like that format

Thx. I'm using Axial 30wt in the shocks now but thinking about switching to a lil heavier. I got some Team Associated 32.5wt I'm going to give a go at.

Well finally did it! Got a video put together from my first run. Its just a short vid mostly for getting a feel for the editing (never did it before at all). So, here you go:

Thx very much. I'm liking this thing a lot. Got a few bits coming that should hold it over for now but there's always more upgrades to come. The SSD axles have got my eye on them when I get some more money

Added a few bits
Wertymade flat top stinger
STRC aluminum diff cover
AMF skid plate
HoyFab Racing jug
RC4WD 3" LED bar

I cut back the chassis about 1/2" to bring the bumper closer to the body (purely visual modification)

Also relocated my winch under the receiver box which needed to be notched to clear the winch

And let there be light

Got a new servo Trackstar TS-621MG and Castle 10a BEC.

Took it out for a lil test run and am more than pleased with the setup. Next up, tear down, clean up and regrease to get ready for our next local comp on the 27th.

Got some MIPs built and installed. Using the ones for an SCX10 due to relocating the tranny back. They fit perfect and don't fall out through complete suspension cycle. Also got my servo winch controller working (I'll do a write up later for those interested)

Awesome work man. Love the way the body flips up funny car style. How are you liking that skid plate? It looks like it's doing it's job but I've heard many say it's like an anchor on rocks.

Thx. I haven't had any problems with the skid plate. As you can see it's doing its job

Nice job man! I was debating on what my first build was gonna be after axial fest. Said to my self what about a custom blazer/k10 wraith. Well this is definitely some awesome inspiration!

How is that Trackstar TS-621MG holding on? On its HK page people are talking about some gear failing and some flickering. However, it seems that flickering is due to under-voltage. Can you confirm anything of this? Or is just a good servo on a good price?

I have long sold off this Wraith but still have the servo. I've used this same servo in my honcho and now in my Yeti without any problems at all. I do have it powered by a Castle BEC still set to 5.1v (still have to get a Castle link). I think this is one of the best bang for the buck servos out there.
