Default Clod Bustin Wraith

Well the other day I went down to the LHS to some universals for my XR10 mod SCX10 project and somehow walked out with a Wraith Spawn RTR (weird how that happens)
So here it was at day one

As you can see the Gearhead wheels quickly found a new home on the Wraith. It kinda snow balled from there. I ended up slicin the clod buster body (once again from my SCX) and slapped the cab on

Gears started grinding in my head after that.
Day two started with the cage mod and a lil mock up

Day three nuthin happened
Which brings us to today. Finished the mods to the cage including cutting the stock battery tray in half and mounting in the front for my saddle packs

This mod required me to move the tranny back about 1/4" to clear the batteries. After that sanded and painted the cage flat black

Last thing was the toolbox.
Going to finish body work and see if I can get some primer on tonite

That is awesome! I know what I am going to do when I finally break down and buy a wraith kit. Great work. Seriously looks killer.

Day 5: Gearhead droop/lowering kit and STRC front aluminum steering links arrived

Got those installed quick, fast and in a hurry. Also did some work on the body. Still needs more sanding

Day 6: Continued sanding and sanding and sanding. Looks and feels good to me. I'm ready to paint.

Thx. The Gearhead kit is sweet. Gives me the stance I was going for plus should help performance with a lower CG. Finally got the body painted and I'm totally satisfied with the outcome. Decals are going on tonite

No worries, only problem is space. I have to unload my Hellfire and then I can go pick one up. It is an excellent test of patience. Looks killer.

Well here we are as of last night. Got my Turnigy GTX3 installed and was able to run her for the first time . Just a couple sprints across the yard. Hopefully I can get down with some crawl testing.
I got my receiver box mod done and I'm pretty good with it

Also got the winch mounted. Now to wait on some lighting and winch controller

Just realized I could do this. Remove bottom mounting screws and...

Wha-laa! Flip up cab. Now I need under the hood accessories

Awesome!!!!

Having access to the electronics/battery made all the difference for me. I'm also not to into scaling, no interior in mine

I'm a little in the middle of it all. I do like scale and performance as well and sometimes performance doesn't allow scale

I knew I wasn't the only one.

Going to hit the rocks with some friends this weekend to see how this baby rolls

So I made a simple winch controller using an old servo. Hooked it up to my 3rd channel. Only problem is its either going in one direction or the other. Can't figure out how to make it stop like a neutral. Any solutions out there?
