Could still chop the lower inner rails completely off and drill the outer lower rails to mount to the skid. Would have a tummy tuck and a narrowed chassis then.

Something along those lines seemed like the next logical step.

Been brainstorming with some guys and found this down on the bottom shelf... Good enough to get some packaging ideas if nothing else. It's out of a first gen Losi 8t.

Found some VP Wraith axles on GrabCAD and started my virtual build

Also, decided to call this build "Trainwreck"

First attempt at a "One and Done'ish" trailing arm. I thought I was being conservative enough with the speeds and feeds but it was still chatter city. Some more tweaking is required. All though once its proven out I'll probably do them out of aluminum anyways. Thinking I can make a little fixture to sand the radiuses on the ends.

Something like this... Uses two Axial pivot bushings at the axle end and has the pivot groove cut for a revo ball at the other.

#2 still isn't up to snuff but it's way better! I'm thinking 7075 wouldn't have these wet noodle issues that I'm fighting with the Acetal. Anyone need 15' of 3/4" rod? Lol

Dump the licorice links. Not sure how they will hold up on a sunny AZ day.

Damn Can't a guy take the easy way out around here?

Just ordered 6' of 3/4" 7075-T651 from Amazon at $8.31 a foot. Prime and one click ordering is a dangerous but oh so easy combination. Probably better upgrade my endmill selection too...
