Pro-line epic 2.2 beadlocks

I came across these on Ebay and was wondering if anyone has run them on a wraith. Will they fit as far as offset? I'm brushed so I dont have to worry about insane speeds blowing the beads out.

What are everyone's thoughts on these????

Can't speak specifically for Pro-Line's crawler beadlocks, but their short course beadlocks hold up well to the "insane speeds" of my short course trucks running soft and super soft tires. Tires are holding on just fine so far.

That being said, those wheels in the link you provided are 2wd Slash wheels and as such are two different off-sets. One pair of front (#2704-02) and the one pair of rear (#2705-02) for the Slash.

Also if they're for a Slash there a 2.2/3.0 wheel not a 2.2.
Unless you want to start cutting the rear bead out of tyres your limited to SCT tyres & they're all pretty short, around 4.35", most 1.9 tyres a taller than that.

Guess again. They're 2.2"/2.2" and if the backspacing is the same as the Pro-Line 2.2"/3.0" Slash wheels, the rear are about .080" wider when compared to the stock Raceline Renegade that came with my Wraith kit (rear Slash backspace is .983", Axial Raceline .903"). Using the Slash rear wheels will widen the track by .160", but only if the back-space is the same as the 2.0"/3.0" rear wheels.

This wheel is perfect for using Pro-Line's 2.2" rock crawling tires on your Slash and bouncing around on rocks at slow speeds.

There is another issue though, the 12mm hex on the Slash is not the same as the one on the Wraith. So the hex will have to be changed to fit the Slash wheel or the center of the wheel will need to be counter-bored to fit the Wraith 12mm hex.

I knew they were 2.2/2.2 and not a typical short course wheel. Thanks Eric0424 for all the info. I didn't take into account the hexes being different. I've never owned a slash so I wasn't aware there are different 12mm hex designs.

Yes, the wraith is the one with the oddball hex design. But I've used Proline Titus beadlocks on both a slash and a wraith and they fit both. If not, it's just a matter of drilling out the center of the wheel a little to fit the wraith hex. This can be done with a hand drill or even a body reamer. It doesn't even have to be perfect, the outer "hex" part of the hex is what keeps the tire true.

Yep, guilty as charged, they're the old old slash wheels that were 2.2"
I was thinking of the more current Proline SCT beadlocks.

As far as I know the Slash was the only short course truck with 2.2" wheels and tires, but that was the ealy days of the Slash. Then the 2.2/3.0 hit the scene and it became industry standard.

I remember these wheels. They came out when I bought my slash and proline made one style of tire for them, the Switch.
