Default high kv motor gearing question

i would like to say thank you for any help ahead of time . I see alot of guys running above 4000 kv what do you do for gearing ? Also do you go out for 4 to 5 hrs or just ten min at a time? This is my first wraith but not crawler , i have a tekin rs and a 7.5t thunder power sensored motor laying around that i was thinking about trying in this truck but when our group goes out its for hrs . I dont want to have to stop all the time because of temp .

I ran a 4600kv 4 pole for a while, geared 64/11. 64t barely clears the front wraith length MIP output.

3200mah 3s lasted 40 minutes or so. Same battery is still going strong well over an hour at 3100kv.

I had problems overheating the sidewinder 3 ESC without a fan, didn't have issues after adding a fan.

You will break lots of parts, wraiths don't like 25mph. And carry a backpack full of batteries.

Or just get a more reasonable kv motor and don't worry about it.

I have no problems running a 4000kv motor. Haven't broken anything major. I use my truck for a trail / crawler truck.
My ESC is a MMP. Motor is a HobbyWing 4000kv 3656sd sensored motor.

Gearing is 60/12

I run mostly 3s batteries. 3700mah will last me for about 2-3 hours trail running.
The 3700mah 3s will last about the same for me as a 6000mah 2s.

The only concern I have about that motor is it appears to be a 2 pole.
Depending on your rig weight, a 2 pole might get a bit warm.

Gear is low to start and check temps.
