Hello, here's my build tread of my second Wraith, rockbouncer.

Bought a new Wraith kit just for this cage.

Also bought some nice shiny Gearhead wheels and pitbull tyres.


Made new panels from aluminium.




Gmade aeration shocks.










A friend repainted the driver.




BRXL esc, Holmes 27t pro handwound motor.

That's a volt meter, I have one mounted in the center on the dash myself but his is much cleaner look. It reads volts per cell and total volts, its pretty inexpensive too, right around 6.00 each.

Yes a volt meter. You have them in different colors.

Really like my 27t handwound Holmes motor. However i bought a Tekin ROC412 3100kv for some more power. According this tread that Tekin motor is i guess the best Wraith motor you can have.

I dont think my Wraith will get beaten as much as some Wraiths in the USA, because there arent mountains where i live or giant rocks. So i hope these upgrades will be enough to do just some forrest bashing.


I am going to drive an 3s. Already have 32p gearing. 56/12/. Does anybody know how the Tekin 3100 compares to the 27t Holmes Handwound pro motor. I drive the 27t on 2s.

ps. i hate my Gmade shocks, they keep leaking around the red screw.

On you're shocks make sure there is an o-ring,also u can use Teflon tape to stop the leaking.

Yes the volt meter are cheap. I plastidipped the rear of the volt meter, just to make it a bit water/splashproof. I rebuild my Gmade shocks. Looks like its leaking around the aeration schrew. I used some Losi Greenslime on it, around the o-ring. Leaking schocks are my biggest frustration.

Just solder it on the esc battery wires.
