Default Quick esc question

Running Holmes hobby crawl master 13t would this esc work fine Castle Creations | Mamba Max 10th Scale Power System

I see many people running the pro so I'm not really sure the difference or compatibility.

Thanks!

That'll work just fine, no brushed motor limit and nice programming options.

What would be the difference or benefit in using the Pro model?

Unless you've found an old one somewhere, castle have discontinued the mamba max (says so on your link)
Mamba max pro has replaced it.

I can't find why the mamba Max was discontinued. Any idea why or if there is any risk in putting the old one on my truck? I'm running Holmes hobby crawl master 13t

They just designed new models that were more affordable to manufacturer. They are great ESCs, just haven't been made for many years now. The sidewinder v3 is almost as capable and retails about half of what the old Mamba Max was.

MMP is awesome esc, do some research and you can find it for $100 bucks new. Plus it comes with a coupon to get a free castle link so you can program whatever you want.
