I had been wanting to get one for some time now. Bought the Poison Spyder. I don't really have any plans for it yet. I will just upgrade whatever breaks. I did cut the fender flair off though, got tired of hearing the tires hit them. Not sure how to post pics from my phone but I'm sure everyone knows what a stock poison spyder looks like. Michael |

Yeah they are! I used a 16oz can and I was surprised it flexed that much, granted its on the carpet. Second is just showing the fenders chopped off. Did a little more chopping today. I may have to do some more, time will tell. So far I'm extremely happy I haven't broken anything yet. Last edited by THX_138; 07-19-2015 at 08:29 AM. |

Nice the ps wraith is my first and only rc car. After a year and a half the only original parts left is a few bits of the cage and the hardware holding it together. It's like the saying about sledge hammers. "Yeah it's a great hammer I've only been through three handles and two heads!" It held up in stock form for a good while though the only thing it needs is a smaller pinion right out of the box.

I'm really surprised I haven't broke anything yet! I don't bash it though so that probably helps. I just crawl stuff. I have a Kyosho mad bug that I break more than I drive. I have thought about a smaller pinion, probably be the first thing I do. |

Finally broke it. Stripped the idler gear in the trans. Got new one, another plastic gear though. No one local had any steel gears so I will order them but still be able to play while I wait for shipping.

| Re: First crawler Hot racing makes metal gears for the transmission. Ive gone through a few gears before going metal. Definitely worth the money. Especially if you go Brushless ever. |

I don't think you can go wrong with either but I like Robinson stuff more. Seems like they offer more options and more of their stuff is hardened. Congrats on the new toy Michael. I'm new to this whole thing and have had my Spawn for about a month now. Loving every minute of it so far.

| Re: First crawler Back when I bought mine RR was out of stock. I've not had any issues with my HR gears. I know other products by HR leave a little to be desired. But as far as gears go they've been great so far even with all the power from a Tekin Roc412.

So I finally put the steel gears in today. I have been sick as a mofo for like a week and a half. Short handed at work so I couldn't call off. I ordered the Mayhem wheels and some ci double deuce foams. Once I get them I'm not sure whats next. So far its held up to my abuse very well.
