Default Raider's Build Thread

Figured I'd make one of these to get me started and keep track of progress.

Have the Wraith Spawn RTR.

Here is what I've Done so Far.

  • Battery Moved to Front
  • Electronics moved to Back
  • Electronics Waterproofed
  • Hood cut for easy battery access (With Velcro, no hinges)
  • Front servo greased and sealed
  • 5000MA Venom Battery Installed
  • Integy Upper links
  • Axial Aluminum Lower Links
  • Steel RRP Transmission Gears
  • Receiver balloon wrapped and sealed
  • Integy Steering Links
On a budget, in process of changing links to Vanquish parts, but they'll do for now.

In process of lowering the vehicle, heard someone say the mounts are already flipped on the spawn version, haven't looked into it yet.

Put balloon receiver in a waterproof box from traxxas.

Aluminum Beadlock Wheels
I think tires are R35 so they're good for now im assuming.
Higher Torque Servo
Alum Diff Cover
Alum Servo Horn
Chubs
Universals

Anyone have suggestions ?
