The slash front proline powerstrokes are the bomb.

I just built a 1.9 using mostly spare parts that were laying around. I used 90mm Kings. I built the links to allow the servo to clear without trimming the chassis. I've ran it twice so far and I am going to leave it alone because it works great.

It sits nice and low like I like it. The only slight problem I've seen is that the belly drags too much. I am going to "tummy tuck" it this weekend and that should solve that.

The links were pretty easy. I used a long wooden ruler to set the wheelbase. I drilled holes in the ruler to hold the axle square then measured for my links. For the links I used revo rod ends, 8/32 All thread, and 1/4" stainless tubing to sleeve the allthread for the lower links. The uppers just have heat shrink on the allthread. To measure for the links I installed the rod ends at their mounting locations and marked the all thread where it needs to be cut.

The servo fits in the void behind the bumper when the suspension compresses.

Nobody says you can't put 1.9 tires on 2.2 wheels. To me it's still a "1.9 wraith".

So just had to change wheel base so servo tucked up in that spot behind bumper?

Yeah. I started from scratch with a wraith cage and no other wraith parts. I basically just slapped it together real quick so I would have a starting point to start adjusting and tuning. For once in my life I lucked out and it works pretty good right outta the gate. Like I said, I'm going to tummy tuck it which might require new links or trimming some chassis, but I hope not. Tummy tucking will move the skid at up to the next bar in the chassis from the stock location. I'm using an scx tranny mounted to the wraith skid in the stock wraith location. I figure I'll have to mirror the tranny so it will still fit under the spawn interior after I raise the skid. I already drilled the skid for my proposed new tranny mount.

Travis-

My wheelbase is 13". Because it's so long I tried these wideners.
Boom Racing makes a good set for $15 for all 4 wideners.

I like how it looks better with the wideners. This is it with the wideners and Axial 1.9 beadlocks.

I am seriously thinking about narrowing my stock axles for a little bit better scale appearance. Seeing this makes my car look kinda goofy with its big ole tires. Oh well, more work to do......Thanks for the info

Just not on 2.2s. They are way to big to look scale! my 1.9 boggers are like 47" tire on a 1:1 rig and that's about right on a rock crawler. They run 44s to 49s most of the time.
