Default Will Axial replace a esc that fried from water?

I ran my wraith through water, and it got the esc wet and few minutes later it started smoking really bad and looks like it burned out the negative wire and that resistor behind it is all black.

I had stock motor and just driving around the street not crawling.

Savox 208oz servo
5000 venom 7.4 volt battery and have spektrum voltage protector.

Am I shit out of luck?

Also maybe some recommendations on a new esc to use with stock motor?

If it was the ae5 they might. It's supposed to be water resistant. I like the Holmes hobbies stuff. They have replaced one for me.

Yeah its the ae-5, you can see where the water got into it, and it just fried the whole board.

I call them and they said no problem and sent me a new one it took a while. The guy said there were some issues with the ae5 but, didn't elaborate. I've had 2 fail but I run 3 of them. One was my fault I didn't have a bec the other was manufacturer defect.
