Looking to upgrade shocks mine keep leaking I've tried rebuilding a few times but to no avail. I probably messed something up in the beginning....but anyways looking for the general consensus on which would be best for crawling usage and sizes. Also what's the scoop on the droop kits I've seen out there?

I like my 120mm kyosho shocks I got from supershafty.com no they are not cheap but after wasting money on just about everything else available I got these and nothing compared out the box they just need installed and spring preload adjusted I used bgr products on my wraith they gave me upper mount options like the droop kits that allowed ride hight adjustment droop kits do the same |

Can't go wrong with Traxxas aluminum big bore shocks for the T/E-Maxx. Part number 4962 I believe. Perform well, look great and don't leak! Reasonably priced too, about $50.00 for a set of eight. I run Axial purple springs in front, red's in the rear. Oh, length is approximately 105mm. Hope this helps!

for me longer shocks and med rear sway bar with a droop kit seems to crawl great and still can turn at more then a snails pace | |

I love my Pro-line powerstrokes. I do mostly crawling with some random bashing here and there. I run 20 weight oil in mine and feels perfect. I bought the longer (rear) version for all four corners and have the adjusters ran all the way to the top. I might try to pick up the spring tuning kit and throw some softer springs in the rear 2. The front sags perfect with my battery forward mod but the rear stays topped out sitting static.

Any thoughts on running the axial shocks upside down ? I can't see why it wouldn't work, just means if the oil level is low the piston will be in air (as opposed to oil) at full extension rather than full compression. I'm thinking they might be less vulnerable to leaking that way ? Thoughts ?
