|  Holmes RX Bypass and CC BEC soldering require?
Bought a Protek 170T. Got the CC BEC and upon further reading of various posts learned that a Holmes RX bypass plug would be a smart addition to this system. Using this plug is there any soldering involved when installing or is it just plug to plug? Would like to see an actual diagram of this setup if anybody has one. Thanks guys, sorry for the multiple posts but this all new territory for me. Going to Axialfest in a month and want to make this trip the best it can be with the least amount of time fixing things while I'm there. Thanks!

I use it on all of my rigs, no soldering required, no unplugging red wire, that's what the bypass is meant for. I have no diagram though.... But plug it into RX, the esc and servo into the other 2 ends |

The only soldering required is to solder the bec to the battery, other than that it's plug and play

If you don't wanna have the bypass shipped you can buy a y harness from LHS and make it into a bypass harness.

Yes the correct way lol Unless you want to cut into the wires and wrap it around and tape it lol, but I really dont recommend that. | |

You will need to solder in your BEC to get it powered, but otherwise there is none when using the RX bypass adapter.

i used red jst connectors to connect my bec to my battery lead`s then another one on the bec istself so i can quickly remove it
