Default Holmes "Y" harness Castle BEC install.

I'm sorry to beat a dead horse but was wondering if anyone had a diagram or some clear pics of how the Holmes Y harness and Castle BEC are hooked up to the ESC/Receiver box? I don't have any soldering equipment at this time and will be taking these components to my LHS to have them do the work. I'm sure they are competent in what they do, but would like to have a pic so I can say, "do it like this!" Putting a Protek 170T servo in Wraith Spawn. Guess these extra components are a necessity when installing such a servo that draws more power. Still learning this crawler thing but love it! Great change from racing Pro4. Waaaay more relaxing!!! Thanks Boys! Keep Rockin'!

The single male side or bottom part of the Y goes into the RX, on the other two female sides, one side has 3 wires and the other side has 2 wires, servo goes on the 3 wire side and the BEC goes on the 2 wire side.
Hope that helps!

Do you need to program BEC WITH Castlelink before using or is ready to go as is?

You can use it as is however I would program it for the appropriate volts you want going to your servo, otherwise your servo won't be used to its fullest potential. Whatever your max oz. in. is required for that voltage is where you want to set it at.
