Default ProLine 2 Door Wraith

I don't know if anyone has done this yet and I doubt I am the first, but I bought a pro line 2 door Jk body to go on a wraith skid.

My first intention was to shorten the wheelbase of the wraith and then make a cage to fit the body nice. I had no idea the body would fit perfectly over a wraith cage. So I was pretty happy about that.
I shortened the wheelbase to 11.5" and had to put in the shorter drive shafts that come on a parts tree with the wraith.

Just thought I would add this on here in case someone was wanting to do this or was wondering how it would fit.

Does it work? Yes
Is it scale? Not really
Do I care? Not a bit

Its scale if you model it after the black ops Jeep from seema 2014. two door jeep running 54's.

It would be scale if you put scx axles and 1.9s under it

I think I've seen about every video of MadRams, micro. I used to be in a jeep club and saw plenty of ridiculous and extraordinary builds!

If you used the smaller wheel adapters to bring the tires in a little bit it would be scale. Just look up jeeps on 1 tons on google images.

The problem with the small wheel adapters was that the rims rubbed on my vanquish steering arms, so I had to set them out. I agree though it would look a lot better.

Based on the position of the front shock I'd say SCX10.

I honestly thought about it, but I didn't want to get too crazy. I'll have to take a flex shot on my Frankenstrat for ya!

What are the odds 5150jeep 5150 Fender.....Hmmmmm
And like he said would have been cool same color pattern as EvH guitar.
Got ya guessing now.I bet you wish you should have done it that way...or did you think of it...
would have been hard to paint though unless you had a professional to do it for you.

Pshhhh professionals! Who needs professionals? I painted that guitar myself. Painting that jeep would have been easy. All it is, is two layers of tape. Lay the design out in two layers of tape and paint the untaped spots red. Take a layer of tape off and paint that black. Take the last layer off and paint that white. I have some CFM panels I might paint that way. Because now you BAST**** have me talked into it!

Looking good! I have had this for a while , but no time to get it out on the trail. I hacked the jeep grill off on mine as I wanted to keep the tube work visible from the front
