Default Wraith Troubleshooting help

I've had this for a couple years, and everything is completely stock. AS much as I'd like to upgrade and replace everything I'm looking to just get it back running for now. When I hit the throttle in forward or reverse I get the red flashing on the ESC and clicking sound in the motor (see video). When it does actually turn the motor over it has no power. Goes at about half speed and can't crawl over anything. Any help and advice would be appreciated.

Just check the vid and sounds like it might have to be bind again...
Try pushing down on your receiver the little black botton and at the same time turn on your transmitter give a few secs and try that...
I'm sure you come to right place to find out the problem...
You'll get answers....

Battery is charged.

I found the set screw on the motor output gear was loose. Tighten that up and still have the problem. Also opened up the transmission and all looks good in there. Wiring the motor directly to the battery there seems to be no issues with the motor or transmission. To me it seems all my problems go back to the ESC. Was hoping for a cheap fix, but it's not looking good.

Cheer up will find the problem. If you have a castle link you could always go to the site and update firmware since it's been sitting for a while..
Did try rebinding your Transmitter with your receiver yet...
Manual will explain or web site..

To my surprise you were on the right track with the battery. It was fully charged however it's a 3300 mah battery and I also forgot an important detail. The steering servo isn't stock, it's a HiTec HS-7955TG.

I'm now shopping for 5000 mah Lipo battery.

Thanks for all the replies.

You don't need a 5000mah lipo to run a better servo. Many people myself included run 2200mah batteries to save weight.

i see you have tamiya connections, i would check to make sure you have all good connections then maybe make sure your esc is programmed correctly as mentioned by rustneversleeps and also since you have an hitech servo you should go ahead and add an ext 10 amp bec!
