Maglite Light lights....

I love the Wraith. I think it's a amazingly capable platform but I have never been fond of the front. I did like the Jeep lexan but that got damaged. I figured it needed some realistic looking lamps in the front and while messing about found the Mini Maglite head fits and looks quite good.

This is the first revision. Hopefully I'll be able to tidy it up some more and I'm awaiting a second torch I got cheap on Ebay.

Just thought I would throw it out there. :)

That is a cool find, wire those 2 into a Battery pack and you will have plenty light up front.

Thanks DTB1. I'll wire them up at some point. Hope to use the incandescent bulbs as I prefer the lighting.

Too cool. That really would give you a lot of useable light on the trail. My mini maglight led is super bright, I can imagine 2

It's certainly simple. You may want to use a small rubber band or O ring to fit behind the glass/reflective bucket so the glass fits snug. There is a little play due to the front not being able to screw right back down due to the metal plate. The thicker the metal you use the more play you will see.

Looks good. Is this just for looks or are you going to light them up?

Primarily looks but I'll get them running just to see and take some pics. :) I don't often run at night and lights tend to ruin most pics I have taken in the past. But that is another reason I will use the incandescent bulbs for a more mellow lighting.

Gotcha. I'm pretty new to night runs but it only took one to get me hooked. I hear ya on the color of the led's. It does kill the looks in the pics but I love not having to use a head lamp.

Bit of a fail on my part. I thought I was buying another Grey Maglite....It's Black :( Looks like a Black eye.....She will now be called Black EYE!!!!

I may just leave it as I quite like the look of it having a Black eye or I could always de-anodize them both. :)
