Spawn be a competitive crawler

Well I have a rtr spawn an trying to figure out how to make it a comp crawler. I did some rock crawling with my buddy he has a Losi night crawler an that thing straight up gets it. It makes my spawn look like a mall crawler. The upgrades so far on my spawn has. 60t motor, upgraded steering. If I could get a bigger tire for the axle clearance it might keep up with his Losi.

So much can be done with the Wraith. First I'd move the battery forward. Bigger tires and more clearance isn't always the answer. Good cg and weight transfer are very important, along with good tires and foams. All I've done with mine is move the battery, lower the ride height and put on a set of heavy wheels with a decent set of tires and it crawls really good. Not like the full out high dollar rigs, but still impressive for the most part. Actually I was disappointed with it till I started changing a few things, and after my last outing with it I almost like it

I have both the LNC and wraith.
they are two totally different animals

Wraith ~can be made to crawl, but you will never get as good as the LNC

$50 in upgrades to the LNC = wow
not so much for the wraith

LNC is so slow that you need something else for the back yard!!!

I have a spawn and losi as well, I've got my spawn pretty dailed and can keep up with my losi for the most part BUT there are a few lines the losi can do but spawn cant. Two totally different platform so just the way it is. Just buy a losi too.

I actually just bought a Losi lol. I was hoping u could build a spawn to keep up with a Losi. I bought the spawn to be a crawler know I guess I'm just gonna make it into a basher.
