Wraith issue - help

Hey guys.
Somewhat of a newbie to rc's. I have a stock spawn with a 34t motor. Last week after not driving it for a whole. The steering servo would not work and after about 10-20 secs after being turned on it would goes full throttle in reverse.
I have thought my servo was bad and very well could have been. Tried a friend's extra stock servo and the servo will cycle now when I turn it on. But it still won't work and still goes in reverse after 10-20secs.
If I unplug the servo from the receiver everything works great minus servo of course.

How do I go about diagnosing this anymore with out throwing more money at it.

Thanks for any info or help

That might be a defective receiver, you could try your ESC and servo on another receiver if you have one available.

maybe the transmitter as well. Try new batteries and re bind the receiver

I agree with the previous posts sounds receiver related. Mine did similar funny business after a long day in the river enough water finally seeped into my receiver and the thing started acting funny business.
My solution was to put the rx circuit board in a small tight tupperware bowl with some damp rid overnight. Then i soaked it in some conformal spray of the silicome variety and put it back together once it dried. Now no water will shut her down short of salt water avoid salt water at all costs.
I went on a tangent, but i second trying a different receiver. Even if you try a different rx and tx at least you cqn cross your esc and servo off the problemchild list if it works fine.
