Mr.Rick's money pit
 

So I bought this wraith about a year and a half ago as the poison spyder rtr... Needless to say it has become quite the project.
I started out modest to see if I was going to stay interested in the hobby and needless to say it wasn't long before I was balls to the wall with it.
I am now running the following set up:
Hitech 7950 tg servo
Tekin pro4 3300kv
Mamba max pro esc
Pit bull rock beasts
Gearhead ez-loc 5 stars
CI dual stage foams
Blue monkey titanium upper links
Blue monkey trailing arms front/rear
Gmade 93mm piggyback shocks
BGR front hoop bumper
BGR LCG V2 top cage with tire carrier
Custom aluminum body panels
Under hood battery mount
VP hubs
VP knuckles
Axial CVDs
Axial HD overdrive/underdrive
Poison spyder diff covers
Axial shock/link mounts
Stainless steel screw kit
Blue monkey rear frame stiffener kit
And I'm sure I'm missing something but that's the current set up. I've gone through several trial and error points where o was running different motors, gearing, tires etc but suffice it to say I'm hooked.

With the leading/trailing arm set up I get quite a bit of flex because the shocks are mounted to the trailing arms not the axles. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08...c08f89dc77.jpg

That's a really nice pile of parts you have there. I'd like to try trailing arms in the front. That flex is impressive.

That's amazing how much flex you have just by moving the mounting position of the shocks.
Iam running the 103 gmade piggyback and don't have that much .

I was a little hesitant about it at first but I actually messed with the stock plastic arms and mounted the stock shocks thru some of the holes in them to test out the theory. I talked to the guys over at blue monkey and asked if any of them has tried it, they assured me it would work. I pulled the trigger and never looked back. It's actually been a really nice set up for my style of driving. I don't do any bashing it's really all trail running and rock crawling so the set up works for me.

I actually ran 110mm Kings prior to the gmades and to be honest they looked awesome but required rebuild after almost every outing. It's just not worth it to have to rebuild that often especially with my style of driving. The leading/ trailing arm set up and the relocated rear shock mounts really add to the flex. I actually ended up making limiting straps because I was getting too much flex. I never thought that would be an issue but in certain cases I needed to carry a tire and the wheels were always looking for the ground in deep holes so I ended up with lots of roll overs... Too much flex was like trying to drive a slinky.
