opinoins wanted on a new wraith....

So i am ready to get back into the rc world and i have had my fill of over the top speed machines that get expensive to repair when they crash into a curb at 70.... a couple weeks ago i asked what was thought of the integy all billet wraith and no one seemed to thing it was worth buying. i am a machinist by trade so i have a bit of um addiction to buying alluminum parts is an issue.... i have a budget of 1500 and want the best brushless rig i can get for that budget and would love to know what others would buy/ build.
