Default Wraith ESC

Hey guys,
I bought a used wraith spawn the other day and today got it out on its first run. The esc let out its magical smoke. I'm running a 3s lipo and 19t integy brushed motor. On the stock AE5 ESC. Previous owner said this was his setup the whole time he ran it. Without issues.

So it's time to replace the ESC and I want a decent one that can handle what I need. Our terrain is hilly rocky climbs to flat out wide open high speed trails. Waterproof is a plus but I can water proof myself if need be. Also needs a drag brake.

Suggestions? I know I do not want to go brushless.

Thanks!
Rick

I smoked my original ESC (Novak) as well. I replaced it with a Mamba Max Pro and have never looked back. It will handle up to 6S LiPo and brushed or brushless motors, if you decide to go that direction. If you get the CastleLink USB adapter the programming options are nearly limitless.

Holmes BRXL is a great choice if you never want to go brushless and you can get it waterproofed from Holmes or do it yourself.

X3 on that BR/XL. ( max up to 6s LiPo )

or

CC SV3 Sidewinder if yer budget dictates that. ( max 3s LiPo )

btw... both ^ are castle creation's link accessible/adjustable.

If ya run brushless...
it need be a sensor ESC/motor.

Ignore the non-sensor brushless systems.
