Default 10 mm make a difference ?

I'm looking at some g-made aeration shocks for my wraith 9turn basher . She's an awful lot of fun just a little "top heavy" . Do any of you use shorter shocks , and have you found a big difference ? Im gonna go 90mm I think....... just wanted a little feedback first. My battery etc is all in the same place. I like the balance and how she jps nose up slightly.

shock length and mounting position
is pre-determined by the drive shaft's movement.

shortening the shock to less then what the engineer's
have determined to be correct... is only hurting you.

If you wish a lower static ride height...
raise the upper shock mounts.
Or use softer springs and lighter oil viscosity.

The later would not be advantageous to jumping your house

If you want more nose up altitude...
learn to use the throttle control better.

The wheels spinning in the air
act like a gyro in their momentum.

So if ya hit the brake mid air... the nose will go down.
if ya hit the throttle mid air... the nose will go up.

If ya have no power... it might not be as noticeable.
But the theory is still sound.

My friend runs 90s without any issues. They won't cause any drive what issues lol. You could run sway bars to help body roll a little. Play with the shock oil and Pistons a bit to firm up the ride.

If you bash a lot definitely invest in sway bars. With sway bars and lower ride height you'll see a big increase in cornering while at speed

He...

Just...

Thinks...

It's clever to type like a ******.

He only does this to get some attention, however the ignore list is very helpful if you want to avoid this type of behavior.

It depends on what you're after. I run the 93mm gmade piggy backs and they work great, however I did lose a little bit of the flex I had when I was running 110mm Kings. I am going to order new shocks again here soon and I am going to go with 100mm gmade zeros. the piggy back is cool and all but for the kind of driving I do its not necessar and the resevoirs get in the way if you want to mount the shock in any position other than the forward most hole in the front.
I like the gmades but I went too short. the GC is nice and low but I need a little bit more flex on the link system I use. If you need just let me know and I can send you some shots of the rig with 93mm shocks on it and see what you think.

Thanks Mr. Rick, im only using my truck for hill climbing, general mudding and abuse. I just want a tiny bit more speed stability on cornering. Just made my piston holes bigger. The rtr supposedly comes with 3 hole pistons fitted. Mine had 2 holes. Hopefully this will make a difference.
